On Thursday, October 6th the Grade Two classes travelled to the Toronto Zoo to participate in a workshop on Animal Classification. We were lucky to have a beautiful, sunny fall day for our trip!
We spent the day learning about all of the diverse and unique animals that call the Toronto Zoo home. We had fun discovering and learning to distinguish between vertebrate classes and exploring the fascinating characteristics of furry mammals, scaly reptiles, feathery birds, slippery fish, smooth amphibians, and scuttling insects while visiting the animals and participating in fun activities.
