Winter weather has arrived, and with the cold temperatures upon us, please ensure that your children are dressed appropriately for the weather. We are very concerned about keeping your children warm and safe. All students should come to school with hats, mittens or gloves, snow pants, a winter coat and boots. Although students do stay inside on extreme cold weather days, they should still be dressed for the weather. There are times when the children are outside. Classes may walk between buildings for some of their subjects and it is concerning to see a number of these students without appropriate winter wear. In addition, it is never ideal for children to spend a day inside without some fresh air and exercise. It would be beneficial for all of our students to have some time outside as we move away from the extreme temperatures. Please assist us by ensuring that your children are dressed for a Canadian winter. Together we can help to teach them how to stay healthy, dress appropriately and remain active during this season.
