Next week, Crestwood will be holding its annual “We Scare Hunger” food drive in support of the North York Harvest Food Bank. Over the past thirteen years, we have built a strong relationship with this charity and take pride in providing support to this community. This year’s drive is being organized by Grade 11 student, Kaitlyn Balter, and she is asking each grade to bring in two particular items which the food bank has identified as being in high demand: canned beans, canned tomatoes, canned fish, rice and kitchen oils (olive, vegetable, canola, etc.). Be sure to send your children to school with their grade’s assigned items and help us reach our school goal of 1000 lb of food.
