The Grade 3 classes jumped onto a school bus and travelled downtown on Tuesday. Our first stop was the CN Tower in the heart of Toronto. We took the elevator up to the viewing gallery in less than one minute. At a height of over 500m we witnessed the urban sprawl that is happening in our city. Skyscrapers, businesses, homes, roadways, and parkland make up our beautiful city. We then visited Riverdale Farm which is a depiction of a rural community. The students saw barns, silos, livestock, tractors, and lots of open space. Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers for accompanying us on this city and country life adventure.
