The U14 Boys Basketball travelled to Montcrest this week. The Lions started off hot, outplaying the Mustangs. The first quarter ended 18 – 5. Montcrest made a few attempts to close the gap, but CPC continually shut them out. CPC’s defensive plays were outstanding, limiting the opponents to just 4 points in the 3rd quarter. With great defensive blocks, and tenacious back court play, special shout out goes to Jesse Codron. An honourable mention goes to Daniel Lax who showed great hustle in his first game of the season. The final score was 32 – 22 for CPC. Ms. Chau and Ms. Watson were pleased with the full team effort and terrific start to the season. With a 3 – 1 record they are at the top of the standings and look forward to maintaining their position in the New Year.
