The U12 hockey team had a fantastic weekend at the Boyd Caldwell Invitational tournament hosted by UCC. We finished Friday with a 2-1 record after posting an exciting last minute 4-3 victory over Lower Canada College in our final game. The day started with a hard fought loss to UCC “6” before bouncing back with a 7-5 win over John Ross Robertson. On Saturday our quarterfinal matchup had us matched up against Crescent School. It was a terrific back and forth affair that ended with an empty net goal and an 8-6 defeat. The boys are to be commended for their hard work, perseverance and exemplary behaviour throughout the 2 day event. Also thank you to our parents who shuttled their children back and forth and supported us win or lose.
