The U12 Basketball team travelled to Ridley College in style yesterday afternoon. From the moment we boarded our bus to the moment we stepped onto the court we had one thing on our mind, a win. Our boys took control of the game from the jump. In the first quarter we were up 9-7, which gave us some concern but it did not deter us from our goal.
All team members put forth an incredible effort on offense and defense, rebounding at every opportunity. By the time we started the second half the score was 18-9. With Joa and Shaan alternating as point guards, the boys on the court moved the ball with skill and confidence. Crestwood team remained driven throughout the game.
The final score was Crestwood 48 – RC 11. Boys your behavior on the bus and on the court was top notch. Coach Brenzel and Conn are excited the team ended the first term in the win column and look forward to the second term.
