The U-10 Girls Basketball team had an amazing week. The team dominated Tuesday’s game against Montcrest with a score of 20-12. Then on Thursday at their tournament against Havergal and Bayview Glen, the girls were once again victorious and won all three games (Crestwood vs Bayview Glen 8-3, Crestwood vs Havergal 18-2, Crestwood vs Bayview Glen 9-4). In all three games, Crestwood quickly took the lead and continued to play well despite the competition. Our top scorers were Rachel Andrews and Shira Sandler who helped propel our team to victory. Solid defence and excellent rebounding from the other team members solidified our wins. A tremendous amount of team spirit and excellent sportsmanship showed why our girls are winners.
