Meet the Teacher: Shayne Rover

Grades 9 – 12
Mr. Rover grew up in Newmarket and now lives in Toronto. He and his fiancé are getting married in July. In his spare time, Shayne likes to stay involved with sports as a player, coach and fan.
Mr. Rover was motivated to become a teacher after witnessing the positive impact his father, also a teacher, had on so many young people through education and sport.
One highlight of his time at Crestwood was winning the Jr. Boys Rugby 7s championship last year. Does he have a secret talent? He can identify the flags of all 197 UN Member States.
