Vince Pagano, Headmaster (all grades and some more than others!)
Mr. Pagano grew up on Christie Street in Toronto and attended Essex Elementary and Harbord Collegiate. He and his wife, Mary, have been married for almost 48 years and have 3 children, Matthew, Lisa, and Mark. They have 7 grandchildren.
Mr. Pagano’s grade five teacher was his motivation to become a teacher and he loves his job. He loves seeing kids respond to good teachers and programs and knows that everybody, regardless of age, circumstance or ability, wants the same two things – love and respect.
When asked about funny experiences at Crestwood, Mr. Pagano confessed to having set off the alarm seven straight times when leaving the school with the VP one evening. Apparently, they kept going through the only alarmed exterior door.
In his spare time, he likes reading, gardening, travelling and going to doctors’ appointments (!). He has an incredible ability to sense good news or bad news even before the first splinters are flying and the first syllable is uttered. As a result, Mr. Pagano is able to help his students put pieces together quickly during both good and not-so-good times.
