Over the past 2 weeks Crestwood Students have been collecting donations for the Terry Fox Foundation, and today we saw the culmination of everyone’s fundraising efforts. Today was an extremely successful day for all Crestwood students participating in the Terry Fox National School Run Day. Following an assembly in the gym all CPC students went out to watch a cross country race in the ravine. Over 65 students participated in the race which made for a great competition.
Winners of the race were;
Male 1st place overall – Steven Lazar
Female 1st place overall – Kate Harding
U14 Male – Aidan Takes
U14 Female – Jordan Nikolov
Overall Team Winner – Senior Boys Basketball Team
After the race all CPC students and teachers walked united for one cause, putting an end to cancer. It was spectacular to see all of our students walking together, honoring Terry Fox and all those who have battled cancer.
