On Monday, February 25th, Crestwood participated in The National Theatre School Drama Festival at Victoria Park Collegiate Institute. Students performed in a poignant play written by grade 12 student, Georgia Gardner, called The Deliberation Room. Directed by Sam and Sarah Douey, the play tackled difficult themes of consent and sexual assault. The show was performed from the perspective of the jury and the real events, as they unfolded. The students did an incredible job; they portrayed the characters in a realistic manner and the audience was enraptured. The cast and crew will be travelling to Senator O’Connor College School on Tuesday for the awards ceremony.
