With a full compliment of players the U13 Soccer team arrived at the field eager to atone for their loss the previous week. Crestwood started well and within 20 minutes scored a fantastic goal. A short corner involving Adam P and Aidan T resulted in a cross that was met with a firm header from Evan S that bulged the onion bag. 1-0 Cubs.
Crestwood came under some heavy pressure during the second half but were able to create several chances on the counter attack. Unfortunately, no opportunities proved fruitful. However a strong back line and with Captain Kufner in net, Crestwood held on to register their first win.
