The Sr. Girls’ Volleyball team opened their season with two nail-biting matches against St. John’s Kilmamock. Unfortunately, despite amazing teamwork, the girls came up just short losing 25-23 and 25-22. However, the girls couldn’t mull over this loss for very long as they had another game right after against The York School. In similar fashion, the matches were tense and kept fans on the edge of their seats. The girls took the first match down to the wire, winning 25-22. The second match started off rocky and at one point the CPC girls were down 20-13. Yet, this wouldn’t stop the ladies and they rallied from behind to overpower TYS and win the match 25-23, earning their first victory of the season. Keep up the great work girls—we’re excited for the season ahead!
