Grade 11 Crestwood student Ryder Fogel (’22) is to be commended on an outstanding accomplishment this summer. Ryder and 5 of his friends were disappointed when their final summer at camp was canceled, but instead of dwelling on a bad situation, they decided to make a difference. Together the 6 boys decided to run from Toronto to Haliburton, inspired by Terry Fox and his Marathon of hope. All the boys have been touched by cancer in some way and they decided that this was an important initiative to take on. Each boy ran 2 – 7km runs a day for 5 consecutive days!!! These outstanding young men not only raised awareness for this great cause but they also raised over $25,900.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Please check out the CTV video celebrating this amazing accomplishment;
