The Senior Kindergarten class discovered a robin’s nest under the red and blue umbrella on the primary playground! The discovery prompted a fun learning experience about robins. Did you know that the robin is an icon of the spring season? Robins live in North America. They are the most easily recognizable bird because of their beautiful reddish/orange breast. Robins eat beetles, grubs, caterpillars, fruit, and berries. They do NOT eat seeds. The SK’s love to observe their new little friend at recess. They have affectionately named her, Twitter. #nature #learning
