Dear Parents and Students,
We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend. It was a pleasure welcoming students back to school on Tuesday and hearing about the lovely ways students celebrated with their families. With only 4 days at school this week, the action was jam packed!
We enjoyed the beautiful warm temperatures at the start of the week, and we survived our first rainy day on Thursday. A reminder to all students, it is important to dress for the weather, and come to school prepared for outdoor activities. Mr. Cooper and the House Heads have done an incredible job of bringing back Crestwood School News. Included in the news each week, is a look ahead at the weather, so you can keep your eye on the forecast and come prepared for any type of weather. In case you don’t get a chance to watch it with your class, remember you can access it on your Edsby homepage anytime you wish!
It has been so wonderful to watch the students connect and play with each other in their own cohorts during recess. They have really bonded as a family and connected in a way that has enabled them to really get to know each other. The students have certainly used their imagination to come up with various games and activities within their cohort and it is heartwarming to watch them interact with each other.
Looking ahead to next week, we have Toonie Tuesday and Pizza Lunch on Tuesday. Please remember to bring your Toonie and dress in your favourite non-uniform clothing. Wishing everyone a great weekend and see you all on Monday!
