Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2022/2023 school year! It has been such a fabulous start to the year and we are so excited to share a little about our first week back.
Our first day on Wednesday was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of new friends! It was wonderful to see our returning students and hear about their summer adventures. We loved welcoming our many new students and their families into Crestwood School and everyone is settling in so well to their new classrooms.
Both the primary and junior divisions had their welcome back assemblies, outlining some of our school routines and procedures, and informing students of the many exciting events, clubs, and teams they will be able to participate in this year. Both buildings are buzzing with excitement with the return of field trips, guest speakers, sports teams, after school clubs, choirs and more! A big thank you goes out to the CSPA for organizing both the Welcome Back Coffee on Wednesday, and the Welcome Back BBQ on Thursday! It was so exciting to FINALLY be able to welcome everybody back and hold in person events! We hope you all enjoyed getting to know some fellow Crestwood families and getting a feel for our school community. We look forward to welcoming you to Curriculum Night later this month.
Thanks again for your flexibility and patience through our changes to pick up procedures. We hope everyone has a relaxing weekend after a BUSY back to school week. We will see you all on Monday!
