Grade 12 Students Make Aspirin

Students in Grade 12 Chemistry completed their Organic Chemistry unit by making a common medication used to treat pain, fever and inflammation called acetylsalicylic acid, more commonly known as Aspirin. Fundraiser for Wuhan

The school community pulled together on Thursday, January 30th, to assist a medical clinic in Wuhan in desperate need of supplies to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. The students and parents at the school donated  almost $3000.00 to the cause and our Chinese community alone added another $5000.00 to that sum. That’s $8000.00 –

Hackergal: In December, Crestwood participated in its first-ever Hackergal Hackathon.  This contest had students from grades 7-9 compete to make an interactive storybook using code to represent the theme “Leaders in HERstory”.  Students researched role models in STEM and depicted their stories through code.  The teams were then scored on the design, code, and gameplay.  Congratulations go
