This week students in the Grade 5 worked with professional scientists in order to discover more about solids, liquids and gases. The students were visited by a virtual presenter from the organization “Scientists in the School” and used their knowledge of matter to perform chemical experiments in the hopes of identifying a mystery substance. It was a thrilling experience for all, and it will not be the last time the Grade 5 cohort invites an expert into the classroom to enhance the learning experience.
