Dear Parents,
As mentioned in my previous email, we are ending our mask mandate as of Tuesday, April 19th. As a parent, it’s your call. However, I would strongly suggest that your child continues to wear a mask when indoors. We have reminded the students that everyone is entitled to whatever choice they make, and that students are not to question or comment on anyone’s choice (whether they are wearing a mask or not). It would be helpful if you could remind your children as well before they return to school next week.
On a different note…if your child is being picked up by someone other than you, the office must receive notification of this change before 2:30p.m. If we do not hear from you, we will not release your child to whomever is supposed to pick him/her up. This is crucial to ensure all students’ safety and enable us to continue to have our pickup run smoothly.
