Yesterday the Male Mentors and those who identify as he/him at the Crestwood community joined to support our female students and staff for their annual Because I am A Girl Day. We ran a cooperative initiative called the Moosehide Campaign, which seeks to end all violence against women and children by calling men and boys to take a stand against domestic abuse through encouraging positive masculinity. We marked the day with video messages, wearing of the moosehide pins, taking a photo pledge, or donating to the cause. Crestwood students and staff raised $666.63 just from a loose change donation, WAY TO GO CRESTWOOD.
