Crestwood structures its art program to let students grow in their artistic abilities while learning to express themselves. From easier to more difficult concepts, we experiment using different materials and techniques such as pencil, ink, pastel, paint and clay. Through creating art, in any media, children learn to accept themselves as individuals and to accept the differences in others because no two products in art are ever identical. Our goal is that, through art, children learn to think and imagine, learn to express their thoughts and moods in their creations and learn to see, not just to look.
