Jack, Queen, King….ACE! The Crestwood U12 Girls Volleyball Team has done it again! With precision bump passing, double blocking, and forearm passing, this unbelievably talented team swept The York School this past Tuesday…3 games straight!
Through isolation play, the team’s quick set option went to work. One…two…SPIKE! The girls pulled out some creative moves never seen before on a Crestwood Volleyball team. First was the ‘Cobra’, the ability to poke at the ball with only the finger-tips. Next was the’ Dinosaur-Dig’, a unique move when the player folds their arms in front of them like a T-Rex to keep the ball in play with the back of their wrists. And how could we forget the ‘pancake’, when a player digs the ball by extending her hand flat on the floor letting the ball bounce off the back of the hand.
Coach Levinsky and Coach Suckstorff were blown away by the incredible performance. The girls remain undefeated, and look forward to defending their record on Tuesday January 19th when they play St. Clements at home at The Glendon Gym.
Come out to support the team and show your Crestwood spirit.
WELCOME TO SPIKETOWN!
