The Grade 4 classes got a virtual visit from the Scientist in the School this week! Their challenge was to break apart a sterilized owl pellet and investigate what was inside. To achieve this, the children had to apply their scientific skills to sort and identify animal bones and then use clues to identify possible animals. It was wonderful to see the classes work on some truly hands-on science and put their observational skills to the test. A great time was had by all!
