What an absolute honour it was to welcome Toronto-based poet and singer-songwriter Honey Novick to Crestwood this week. As part of the Grade 9 English course’s Poetry Unit, Honey spent time with each English class sharing a wealth of knowledge and insight. In addition to sharing her life-experiences as an artist with us, she led students through writing and vocalization exercises, and was so incredibly generous with her feedback and praise. We are so grateful to Honey for sharing her time, her perspective and her many gifts with us this week.
