Post-Secondary Presentations @ Crestwood
As we head into the month of November, the Guidance team would like to remind all grade 12s of the final university presentations happening at Crestwood during senior lunch:
- Monday October 28 – University of Toronto – St. George
- Tuesday October 29 – Wilfrid Laurier University
- Wednesday October 30 – Queen’s University
Although not mandatory, it is very important to attend these sessions and ask questions. Below are some questions that students typically ask:
• How big is the school?
• Is it in a rural or urban setting?
• What types of programs is this school known for?
• What are the admission requirements for specific programs?
• What makes it different from other schools?
• What scholarships, grants and bursaries are available?
• Is residence guaranteed with admission?
• How much does it cost?
• Can I defer my admission?
• Does it have exchange programs with other schools?
• What is the average class size?
• Are there co-op / internship opportunities?
• What is the food like on campus?
• What extra-curricular opportunities are there?
