Last week the Grade 7 Crestwood class travelled to Camp Timberlane just outside of Haliburton, ON. The program was designed around the theme of Community Building. Our grade 7’s participated in Experiential Workshops and Outdoor Activities, that helped build teamwork skills, communication skills, and helped to build the foundation of an effective community,. We participated in outdoor activities such as shelter building, fire making, voyageur canoeing, paddle boarding and archery. We also completed a Personal Strengths workshop that helped our students develop an appreciation of their own unique person strengths and those of their peers. It was an amazing 3 days filled with adventure, fun and getting to know one another.
