Last week, the grade 11 biology students spent one week at the Canadian Ecology Centre near Algonquin Park applying the knowledge gained from class to real world situations. They surveyed tree plots, examined benthic species in lakes, learned about animal tracking, and had exposure to the various careers available to them in the health and biology fields. It was a fun and rich educational experience!
