Today, Friday February 26, 2016, both Grade One classes had a visit from Scientist Fariba. She came to help us learn about Energy. We did many fun and awe-inspiring activities and experiments. We found out all about energy conservation, renewable sources, solar energy, and heat and light energy. We made bracelets using UV beads that change colour in the sunlight and splatter paintings using solar power. The Grade Ones had a wonderful time today and learned so much!
