The Grade 6 students had the privilege of listening to immigration lawyer, Stephen Green discuss some of the processes immigrants must go through to start a new life in Canada. Students learned about government regulations for both extended travels, and applying for full citizenship. This relates closely to our Social Studies unit about Canadian Immigration, and the challenges immigrants face when choosing Canada as their new home. We want to thank Stephen for taking the time to come speak to the Grade 6 students; they were extremely engaged and learned a lot!
