The Grade 5 students had the pleasure of traveling to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario this week, to support their Social Studies curriculum about Canadian Government. Students had the opportunity to participate in a role play, experiencing the democratic process of creating new laws. We also had the chance to stand right on the chamber floors and learn about the history of the architecture and artwork created over 150 years ago. The students were excited to have their Social Studies classes come to life on this enlightening field trip!
