This week the Grade 3’s had the opportunity to build on their knowledge of structural strength as junior engineers. They discovered how to design a structure to withstand both tension and compression by using Jube Jubes and toothpicks. Additionally, we tested different materials for strength, and investigated how the strength of a material can be altered by manipulating its shape! Check out some of our experiments below!
