The Grade Ones were treated to a workshop on Energy this week. Scientists in the School visited our classrooms and taught us all about Solar Energy, Sources of Energy, Heat Energy, Light Energy, and Conservation of Energy. Through many hands on activities, we learned that the Sun gives us energy, heat and light and can make things go, grow, blow, and flow. A very big thank you to our 1A parents – Lucy, Anit, Somayeh, and Anson, as well as, our 1B parents – Nadine, Lindsay, Ali, and Cary who were able to help out. We couldn’t have had so much fun without you!!
