The Crestwood Cougars U12 Girls basketball has started the season on a nice roll. They took on Pickering College at Glendon in their second contest and proceeded to shoot the lights out. Pickering was twice their size, so the Cougars decided they would need to take it to the next level while using their speed and quickness. The offense was led by Maya S., Noa F. and Molly H. while the defence was led by Leila S. and Zoe D. At the end of the first half Crestwood was up by 6 points but Pickering became more aggressive as the game progressed and they took the lead. The Cougars rallied at the end of the game and the final score was 24-24. It was a well played game all around!
