I am the current 4D teacher at Crestwood School and am excited to be a part of this community. I completed my undergrad at York University, where I studied psychology. After graduating from York University, I moved to South Korea to teach English. It was there that I developed my love of teaching and travel. While in Korea, I applied to the MA Child Study and Education program at the University of Toronto. The program provided me with a multitude of teaching placements and volunteer opportunities. During this time, I worked privately with adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, working on social skills and reading social cues. After graduating, I completed my Special Education Additional Qualifications. For the past two years, I have worked at Upper Canada College with grades 3, 4 and 5. While there, I was involved inside and outside of the classroom coaching basketball, cross country and track and field, as well as running a community service program. I also had the pleasure of conducting action research on growth mindset in the classroom, which I happily bring to Crestwood. In my spare time, I love to read, travel and binge watch Netflix series.
