Hello! I am the new Primary Music Teacher at Crestwood School! I also lead Junior Choir and teach Recorder for 4A and 4B. I began my career in music as a singer/dancer/actor performing musicals throughout Canada. I have released two albums as well as two music videos of original works. I am a funk/soul singer with my band “Mr and the Sweet Collective,” I play the piano, and a mean tambourine! I received a Hons. BFA from University of Windsor and Sheridan College for Music Theatre Performance and I returned to school for an MA in Music Education where I had the fortunate experience of teaching music to the Inuit community in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Upon receiving my B.Ed from U. of T., I taught with the TDSB, TCDSB, The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Healthy Earth School (where I designed a Primary Music Theatre Program) and various other private music schools. I love to laugh, eat decadent desserts, and have spontaneous dance parties. It is my absolute joy to get to know the Crestwood community and I am so grateful to be a part of this team!
