Crestwood’s beginner and novice curlers hit the East York Curling Club on Friday to participate in the CISAA Funspiel. Two Crestwood squads, skipped by Lyndsay McCulloch and Zach Halpern, represented Crestwood. The Crestwood curlers went up against squads from Saint Andrews, Montcress, and Crescent, and represented the Crestwood Curling program with skill, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The goal of the day was having fun, and the Crestwood curlers certainly accomplished their goal. Beyond that, Team McCulloch tied for Second Place in the skills competition, demonstrating their growing skill on the ice.
