This week, children in classes’ 4C and 4D had a lesson on habitats from the Scientists in the School! During an extremely engaging and hands-on lesson the children had the opportunity to explore one particular habitat as part of a group. Amongst many activities, they had the challenge of investigating animal furs and skulls, creating food webs and even played a game of ‘Habitat Jenga’. It was great to see the children apply the knowledge they had built up about habitats to new situations and the lesson really put their communication and collaboration skills to the test!
