On Friday, 6A and 6B ventured out to the Apple store at the Eaton Centre. There we created posters in their program “Elevating Ideas into Action”. Our posters focused on the devastating problems surrounding child labour and what we, as Canadians, can do to help these children preserve their childhoods. Our students used the programs Pages and Procreate to create informative and creative messages for their readers. The staff at the Apple store was very welcoming, informative and helpful. Our students left with new knowledge, a personalized certificate and a USB/bracelet. What fun we had!
