The Crestwood Cubs Hockey Team came out flying and never let up on their way to a convincing 6-1 victory over Country Day School at York Mills Arena on Thursday afternoon. Our defence led the way with hard work, precision passing and many blocked Cyclone pass and shot attempts. This effort was contagious and sparked the offense into action. Both of our centres, Brad Parker and Beckett Sennecke each bagged a hat trick highlighted by some delightful dangles. Goalie Nathan Galansky was solid in goal from the drop of the puck. He made many tough saves appear routine with excellent positioning and a quick trapper. Through the first three regular season games our three goalies have allowed a combined 2 goals, with each back stopper picking up a win. Wish the team luck as we compete in the annual Boyd Caldwell Invitational at UCC on Friday and Saturday.
