Crestwood was represented at the future design school’s CIS Ontario Future Prize Challenge by grade 7’s William MacInnis, grade 8’s Ali Farroukh and Aaron Vidal-Ribas-Smith. The boys spent their day at the MaRS Discovery District designing a brilliant app that contributed to solving the posed challenge.
“How might we better support new Canadians as they transition to life in a new country?”
Employing the method of paper prototyping, the boys put on an immersive and captivating presentation. The judges were impressed by the ideas that were put forth.
William, Ali and Aaron left the event with increased creative confidence, motivation to change the world, and looking forward to becoming global citizens.
