On Tuesday, March 29, a group of Senior Prefects travelled to Church of the Redeemer in downtown Toronto to participate in the church’s ‘Drop In Meal’ program. The students spent the morning helping with the preparation of meals, and sharing stories with members of the local community participating in the program. Students also learned about the importance of community outreach, and were able to speak with program administrators about the benefits, as well as practical challenges, of providing this important community initiative. It was an excellent day and a tremendous learning experience.
