Imagine having to leave your homeland and arriving in a country in the middle of winter with practically nothing but the clothes on your back.
At Crestwood our tradition has always been to instill in our students the importance of helping those in need. With this in mind, we would like to contribute to THE CLOTHING DRIVE, which is an initiative established by concerned and caring people across Toronto. They have recognized that there will be an overwhelming need for clothing for the Syrian refugees coming to Canada.
If you are able to help, we would appreciate any donations of clean, and gently used items including the following:
- snowsuits, snow pants, jackets, scarves, hats, mitts
- shoes & boots
- pants
- long sleeve shirts
- sweaters
- socks
- infant wear
Kindly place items in clear plastic bags and have your child bring your donation to his/her classroom.
