Last weekend the Senior Boys and Senior Girls Prep basketball teams headed to Washington for 4 days. Both teams played some excellent basketball but it was the girls who stole the show. The senior girls won all three teams, including the number ranked team in Canada. It was an excellent opportunity for our student-athletes to showcase their skills in front of NCAA coaches.
When not playing basketball the teams toured Washington including a visit to the White House and several Smithsonian museums. The boys team also enjoyed a tour of Maryland University in which they got to see the campus and watch a men’s practice. To add to the fun the team also got to watch an NCAA game at the Verizon Center, home of the Washington Capitals.
