This past Tuesday, Judy (Stephanie) CPC’s Security Officer, received the 2018 Annual Volunteer Service Award from Premiere Kathleen Wynne. Judy, as well as other volunteers and members of a grass-roots network, Friends of Flemingdon Park, created a forum to bring residents and agencies together to promote collaboration and support initiatives that promote social justice and equity. With the work that Judy has done in her community, she and other volunteers were able to raise $536,000 to go towards infrastructure upgrades to their local arena, the Angela James Arena. Judy has also helped organize a mural project involving youth in the community, as well as renovating the local basketball courts in the community. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated member of the local community a part of our own Crestwood community. Congratulations Judy!
