Over the past few months, students at Crestwood have been participating in various initiatives to help those less fortunate. Earlier in the fall, students from all grade levels brought in food donations for “We Scare Hunger”. Students helped scare away hunger by raising awareness on the issue of food insecurity. Recently, students participated in Crestwood Gives. Every year Crestwood partners with an organization to bring gifts to those who are struggling to afford items during the holiday season.
The character trait that we will be focusing on for the month of December is “caring”. Students will be guided by their English teachers and have a writing prompt exploring this virtue.
