Sean Abraham (CPC ’05) studied Mathematics and Engineering at Queen’s University (2010), got a bit of industry experience, then immigrated to Boulder, Colorado in 2012, where he’s been living ever since. Most recently, he’s been a senior software engineer at Google (2014-2021), working on Chrome OS’s continuous integration, delivery and hardware testing platforms.
Sean took up running (road and trail) at 28 years of age, and he’s trying hard to get good times before aging makes that too difficult (in 2020 he got 17:28 for 5km, 36:45 for 10km, 1:25:30 for HM). Running has been a great source of outdoor community and mood regulation during this challenging pandemic period. Sean is a participant of and an avid fan of the ethos of Burning Man, and he’s hopeful that the community can return to the desert this year post-covid.
Sean married his longtime boyfriend Chris in February 2021, in a very small (5 person), covid-friendly ceremony in the Rockies, near their home in Boulder. Sean is eager to visit Toronto again once the government in Ottawa implements some reasonable rules for visitors. In the meantime, he’s been meeting with lots of friends virtually, and it’d be great to see some old Crestwood friends and teachers in that way too. He hopes that everyone at Crestwood is doing well!
