Despite a lopsided final score the Crestwood School hockey team may have played their best game of the year yesterday against one of the top U12 teams in their league. The Cougars got off to a quick start and grabbed a 1-0 lead with a partial breakaway goal by Brad Parker. With the game tied 1-1 Aidan Takes and Parker setup Cole Eichler in the high slot who popped the puck in the top shelf to grab the lead again. All of our boys and girls continued to battle for the next two periods but could not fight off the constant Coyote attack. The effort, attitude and cooperative team play were all encouraging signs heading into next week’s games. Nice job and keep up the hard work. All players please remember to bring your hockey gear on Monday as we are travelling to King City for the first game of a home and away series vs the Country Day School.
