Congratulations to Crestwood’s Marlo Davis on being selected as an assistant coach for the Canadian women’s basketball team. Marlo Davis has been a teacher and basketball coach at Crestwood for the past 4 years. In this short time he has led the Senior girls team to 4 CISAA Division I basketball championships. Last year Crestwood’s senior team joined the provincial circuit and competed in the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association. Marlo led the team to an undefeated season and our first provincial title. The girls are looking to repeat this year and are off to a great start currently sitting with a 9-0 winning record.
This summer Marlo will coach the U18 National girls program, traveling to Europe to compete in the FIBA World Cup. He will be working with some of the best coaches and women’s basketball players in the country.
Crestwood is proud of Marlo’s commitment and dedication to women’s basketball and we wish him continued success with the National program.
